Service Description

Analyzes for common drinking water health concerns–including heavy metals, common bacteria, nitrates, general chemistry–as well as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that can result from chlorine disinfection or nearby agricultural or industrial activity. Service includes full Healthy Home Evaluation service. Pre-sampling requirement: At least one faucet must have no water use for 12 hours prior to sampling, but must have been used within the last 36 hours. Ideally, choose a faucet where the aerator/screen can be removed. Scheduling note (time-sensitive samples): Bacteria samples must be delivered to the lab within 24 hours (while the lab is open). For that reason, no sample collection is accepted after 2 PM on Thursday through 2 PM on Sunday. Questions before you order?
