Service Description

Designed to meet Jefferson County Land Development Regulation (LDR) Section 21 requirements This service covers the collection of water samples from your well, transport to certified labs, a clear summary report of your results formatted for your county application, and guidance and support if any results require a treatment plan Important — water access requirement: Healthy Home Solutions is not a licensed well construction or pump installation contractor. Water must be accessible at the surface through normal means (e.g., an existing faucet, spigot, or sample port). If the water is not currently accessible at the surface, please coordinate with your well contractor to provide access before scheduling, or schedule this service for a date when your contractor will be onsite and available to provide access to the water. What you'll need to provide: The identifying information that matches your land development application. This may include: • Plat information • Property address • Well permit number This information will be used for reporting and identification on all lab testing reports Parameters analyzed: Includes 35 parameters required by Jefferson County LDR Section 21 for private well water land development applications: 1 Bacteriological 16 Inorganic Chemicals & Metals 2 Radiological 6 Organic Chemicals 10 General Chemistry & Physical Note regarding Color: Color testing is not included in this service. Per verification with Jefferson County, this parameter is not required as long as a statement of availability is included with the submission. This statement will be included with your report package. Typical lab turnaround: Results are generally reported in 2–3 weeks from the date of sample collection Scheduling note (time-sensitive samples): Bacteria samples must be delivered to the lab within 24 hours (while the lab is open). For that reason, no sample collection is accepted after 2 PM on Thursday through 2 PM on Sunday. Questions before you order?
