Buying, refinancing, or closing on a home with a private well? This targeted well water test is designed for real estate and loan-related needs and is a great fit for many common FHA, VA, and USDA Minimum Property Requirements. Scheduling note (time-sensitive samples): Bacteria samples must be delivered to the lab within 24 hours (while the lab is open). For that reason, no sample collection is accepted after 2:00 PM on Thursday through 2:00 PM on Sunday. Pre-sampling requirement: At least one faucet must have no water use for 12 hours prior to sampling, but must have been used within the last 36 hours. Ideally, choose a faucet where the aerator/screen can be removed. What to have ready (sampling checklist): • A cold-water sampling point (cold water only—kitchen cold tap or designated sample tap) • No screen/aerator installed at the sampling faucet (please remove it before the appointment if possible) • If you have filtration or treatment equipment and want the sample collected after the treatment, please tell us in advance so we can collect from the correct location. Typical lab turnaround: Results are generally reported in 7–10 business days after the lab receives the sample (when the lab is open and processing normally). 6 parameters analyzed by a certified water laboratory: • Arsenic • Lead • Nitrate (as N) • Nitrite (as N) • E. coli (presence/absence) • Total Coliform (presence/absence) What’s included: • On-site sample collection (proper handling and chain-of-custody as required) • Delivery to a certified lab for testing • Email delivery of the certified lab report + a short plain-English recap when results are ready • Clear follow-up guidance if anything comes back “Present” Questions before you order?
