This service includes professional water sample collection and submission to a state-certified laboratory for: • Total Coliform (presence/absence) • E. coli (presence/absence) You will receive official lab documentation you can share with your agent, lender, or inspection team. If a result indicates a concern, we will explain what it means in plain English and outline practical next steps. Scheduling note (time-sensitive samples): Bacteria samples must be delivered to the lab within 24 hours while the lab is open. To protect sample validity and meet lab requirements: • Available collection days: Sunday after 2:00 PM through Thursday • Not available: Friday, Saturday and Sunday before 2:00 PM • Cutoff times vary based on lab hours. If you have a tight deadline or need a specific drop-off window, please call before purchasing so we can confirm timing. Typical lab turnaround time: Most results are reported within 1–2 business days after the lab receives the sample, depending on lab hours, holidays, and processing volume. Questions before you order? What’s included: • On-site sample collection (proper handling and chain-of-custody as required) • Delivery to certified laboratory for testing • Email delivery of the certified lab report plus a short recap when results are ready • Clear follow-up guidance if anything comes back “Present” What to have ready (sampling requirements) • A cold-water sampling point (cold water only—kitchen cold tap or designated sample tap) • No screen or aerator installed at the sampling faucet (please remove it before the appointment if possible) • If you want the sample collected before or after any treatment/filtration equipment, please tell us in advance so we can collect from the correct location.
